South Seneca Schools
R.W. Dake is in the process of completing a two year project at South Seneca School District located in Ovid, NY. R.W. Dake was the interior sub contractor for this project. The scope included a significant renovation to the high school which included a new gym and auditorium. The elementary school also underwent considerable renovation to numerous classrooms and offices.

M&T Bank Southgate Branch
The Southgate branch for M&T was designed to be a showpiece branch in western NY. While R.W. Dake was not selected to build the entire branch, we were retained by the Bank to monitor construction and perform quality inspections. Several issues were detected and our western NY team worked with bank representatives, engineers, and architects to develop solutions that would work. Specifically, R.W. Dake was tasked with installing a fiberglass “wing” that was designed to be one of the key exterior architectural features of the project. The pictures to the right illustrate the “wing” in various stages of construction.
Pathfinder Engineers & Architects
R.W. Dake was retained Pathfinder Engineers as a prime contractor to be part of the team responsible for building out their new 9200 sq ft. three story property. The building underwent extensive renovations to upgrade the building site, envelope, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, all with an eye toward energy efficiency and sustainability. R.W. Dake was asked to help with the coordination of all trades and assist with some of the steps needed to attain LEED Certification.
Capital District Battery Plant
R.W. Dake was recently sub contracted to retrofit a 200,000 square foot building from an old engine plant into a state of the art battery plant. R.W. Dake will be installing approximately 120,000 SF of its DakeWall Metal Panel Partition System using the cleanroom panel option with clear anodized aluminum trim. The cleanroom panels are 10’ in length and will be used to construct wall heights from ten to sixty feet. Although this will not be an officially rated cleanroom, the DakeWall system will provide a truly professional look for the customer’s battery plant.
